Harolyn C. Gilles, M.D.
Dr. Harolyn Gilles is a board-certified Family Physician who thinks “outside the box” of mainstream Medicine. She practices an Integrative approach in which she seeks the underlying causes of symptoms to provide real long-term solutions, which promote healing, and not just symptom relief. She is a highly skilled clinician with advanced training in various alternative and natural therapies, including Nutrition, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement, Aesthetic Procedures, and Stem Cell Therapies for aesthetics, pain relief, and sexual enhancements. Dr. Gilles utilizes a variety of cutting-edge modalities to assist the body in healing itself. Most importantly, she listens to her patients, always mindful of treating them with respect, dignity, and compassion.
Upon graduation from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, IL, she served on the faculty of Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and the University of Arizona School of Medicine. Dr. Gilles has nearly 40 years of practice experience, has won many awards, including the “Best of Scottsdale Physicians and Surgeons Award” for the past 13 consecutive years, Top Docs in AZ, and is an honored member of “Cambridge Who’s Who.”

MARESSA M. ALEJANDRO, MD
Dr. Maressa Alejandro is an internal medicine physician specializing in preventative and medical care for adults and seniors. She earned her medical degree at Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
She completed her internal medicine internship, residency, and fellowship, as well as additional fellowship training in geriatrics and primary care at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in New York City. Dr. Alejandro is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and licensed in multiple states, including Arizona. She has earned many honors and awards throughout her career and is a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Alejandro has expertise in treating coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, underactive and over-active thyroid disease, asthma, bronchitis, and autoimmune diseases, among other conditions. She specializes in the unique health needs of the elderly, including chronic diseases, nutritional problems, skin ailments, cognitive loss, memory impairment, adverse effects of medications, immobility, and balance issues.Whether it’s a complex medical issue with multiple comorbidities or a simple well-check exam, Dr. Alejandro treats her patients with kindness, respect, and compassion. She speaks Spanish. Dr. Alejandro is participating with Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, Blue Cross, United Healthcare, and Cigna, among others, and is currently accepting new patients at Fusion Medical Care!

SHARON L. CARAVETTA, BSN, MSN, FNP-C
Sharon Caravetta is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for whole-person care. She earned Bachelor’s Degrees in both Psychology and Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Northern Arizona University.When Sharon met with Laura, they quickly realized they were kindred spirits. Their first conversation went on for hours about all of the options and possibilities that exist for patients when providers and patients open up their minds to welcome a holistic approach to care that recognizes the amazing healing power of the human body and views health and wellness as a delicate balance of mind, body, and spirit.To fully appreciate and honor one’s health, the patient must be viewed as an individual with her/his own unique needs. This is why she is happy to be at Fusion Medical Care, where she can take the time to understand these needs and incorporate a truly integrative approach to health and wellness, balancing both naturopathic and allopathic care.Sharon enjoys providing primary care services for her patients and particularly enjoys working with patients in the areas of Hormone Balance, Weight Loss, Sexual/Reproductive Wellness, and Aesthetics.Being so in awe of the human body and the delicate balance required to maintain health is why she is so drawn to hormone balance. The endocrine system is one of the most complicated aspects of the human body, and the profound impact that she can have on a patient when she helps them reach a balanced state. This is one of the most rewarding feelings she can imagine that drives her to continue to learn more and work harder.As a person who has struggled with her own issues with weight loss, Sharon is very passionate about helping patients set and reach their goals. It is the plan that must fit the individual, not the individual that must fit all that is unique about them into a generic plan. She has helped many patients reach their weight loss outcomes with a variety of methods designed to meet the patient’s preferences and goals.Sharon feels that one of the most special aspects of being a human is our bond and connection to the ones we love. However, many things can hinder one’s balance in this area and be a source of sexual dysfunction, such as painful intercourse, erectile dysfunction, lack of sensation, mismatched libidos, and psychological blocks to intimacy. Her patients feel very comfortable talking to her about their concerns and know that she can provide help in this area, free from judgment and with a sex-positive mentality.Ms. Caravetta has been an aesthetic injector for the past 7 years, and she loves this aspect of her career, as it allows for a beautiful combination of her artistic passion as well as being able to have a profound impact on the lives of others. She strives to achieve natural results for her patients and to feel and look as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. Having a background in psychology, she can fully appreciate the profound impact that can be found when one is able to feel better about themselves when an issue in appearance that is bothering them can be improved.She loves spending time with her three sons and one granddaughter. She also enjoys gardening, clay target shooting, yoga, playing cards, board, and video games. Sharon is grateful to be part of the Fusion family and truly believes the best way to create a healthier path is an integrative approach with an open heart and open mind!

Laura Gold, RPh, ABAAHP
Laura Gold has been a practicing clinical pharmacist for over 20 years. A graduate of St. John’s University School of Pharmacy in Queens, NY, and with an undergraduate education in compounding and natural medicine, Laura has served as a clinical pharmacist in various capacities within the pharmaceutical industry. After realizing the need for a balanced approach between natural and allopathic medicine, she founded and operated her own compounding and nutritional pharmacy in Peoria, AZ, developing into a complete wellness center housing multiple integrative practitioners. During this time, she advanced her training as a compounding pharmacist through the Professional Compounding Centers of America and most recently became a Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners.
She believes that, as a pharmacist, she is offered the perfect opportunity to integrate and fuse naturopathic and allopathic medicine with the creation of Fusion Medical Care. Patients seek natural solutions to remedy their health, while practitioners seek innovative, integrative care practices to aid patients. At FMC, Laura supports the clinical team in caring for members’ pharmacological needs and is the patient’s advocate.
